Introduction Our client is seeking an Advanced Full Stack Developer to join their high-impact IT Hub.
In this role, you will be instrumental in the distribution and sale of Service and Repair packages across global channels.
You will support a diverse product landscape, ranging from battery care and roadside assistance to automated campaign management and price distribution.
As an Advanced Developer, you will bridge technical theory with practical implementation, often working autonomously while providing guidance to junior team members.
You will be responsible for ensuring high-class operational quality and stability for customer-facing transactional solutions.
Technical Excellence & Leadership
Core Development: Mastery of JAVA and Spring Boot for building scalable backend services. Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS environments. Database Management: Strong proficiency in SQL (Postgres) for managing complex data relationships. Modern Tooling: Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Git version handling, and an active interest in AI tools and frameworks.
Position Details
Contract Dates: 01-07-2026 to 31-12-2028. Location: Midrand / Menlyn / Rosslyn / Home Office Rotation. Level: Advanced 4-6 years related experience Work Arrangement: 1960 hours per 12-month period with high work-life balance and remote/on-site flexibility. Flexibility: Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays when project requirements demand.
Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications across front-end and back-end layers API Development: Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices Solution Design: Contribute to architecture decisions and solution design Standards: Develop scalable and secure solutions aligned to Group IT standards Collaboration: Work with Product Owners in Germany and global teams to deliver features Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes Troubleshooting: Debug and optimise application performance Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation Data Solutions: Design and implement data solutions using graph database technologies (AWS Neptune) where appropriate Data Modelling: Model and optimise complex data relationships for DVF use cases (connected vehicle data, digital twins)

A background in automotive IT or large-scale enterprise data systems would be a distinct advantage, but what matters most is a proven ability to deliver full stack solutions at scale, take ownership end-to-end, and contribute meaningfully to architectural decisions within a fast-moving DevOps environment.

Graph Database & Cloud:
Experience working with graph databases and modelling complex relationships Hands-on experience with AWS Neptune or similar graph database technologies Ability to design and optimize graph data models for large-scale systems Understanding of graph-based use cases (connected data, knowledge graphs, digital twin scenarios)
Advantageous Skills:
Frontend experience with modern frameworks (Angular, React) Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript MongoDB exposure TypeScript and NodeJS Atlassian APIs
