Introduction A well-established manufacturing operation in Port Elizabeth requires a Factory Accountant on a temporary contract basis to support financial costing, reporting, stock control and manufacturing finance activities. Reporting to the Management Accountant, this role will suit a detail-driven finance professional with strong analytical ability and experience within a manufacturing environment.
You will be responsible for cost reporting, preparing import cost files, coordinating stock counts, conducting variance investigations, reporting scrap, providing SAP-related transaction support, and ensuring compliance with financial controls and company procedures. Exposure to production finance, inventory management, and factory reporting processes is essential.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Degree in Finance, Management Accounting or related qualification (NQF 6/7) CIMA studies advantageous Up to 5 years’ experience in cost accounting/reporting within manufacturing Advanced Excel and strong MS Office skills SAP FI and MM experience essential Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving ability High attention to detail and deadline-driven Strong communication and relationship-building skills
