Draughtsman (Junior to Intermediate) - Contract Position

Introduction An established engineering company is seeking a Draughtsman (Junior to Intermediate level) to join their team on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who has recently entered the field or has some experience, with a strong foundation in SolidWorks and exposure to a technical work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

Create and update technical drawings using SolidWorks Assist with design modifications and drawing revisions Interpret engineering concepts and translate them into detailed drawings Work closely with engineers and senior team members Ensure accuracy and compliance with engineering standards Maintain proper filing and version control of drawings

Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum Requirements:

Junior to intermediate level experience as a Draughtsman SolidWorks proficiency (non-negotiable) Relevant technical qualification (Diploma / Certificate in Draughting or similar) Exposure to a technical or engineering work environment Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Must be immediately available
