Introduction To provide strategic leadership and oversight for all contractual, commercial, and legal aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, risk mitigation, and effective commercial management of project delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities Strategic Contract Management
Oversee all project contracts and subcontract agreements. Ensure contractual compliance with client requirements and project specifications. Lead negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Commercial Management
Monitor project budgets, claims, and financial performance. Review variation orders and contract amendments. Provide strategic advice on commercial risks and opportunities.
Risk Management
Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with project governance and regulatory frameworks.
Stakeholder Management
Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors. Represent the company in high-level contractual negotiations.
Leadership
Provide leadership to Contracts Managers and commercial teams. Ensure alignment between commercial strategy and project delivery.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in construction management / engineering / quantity surveying Professional registration with ECSA and SACPCMP (essential Bachelor’s degree in construction management / engineering / quantity surveying Professional registration with ECSA and SACPCMP (essential)
