Duties & Responsibilities Our client in the oil and gas industry is seeking a Capex Sourcing & Contracts Specialist to join their team on a 1 year contract.
Role:
You will help to develop strategies, source goods and services, negotiate, make recommendations for approval of award, execute Contracts and thereafter support Contract management whilst working to secure competitive prices, optimum total cost of ownership and strong supplier performance.
Required qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
Required experience:
A minimum of 5-7 years of procurement experience preferably in the petrochemical, energy or related industries.
Working knowledge and experience of NEC3/4 contracts.
Assessment of compensation events, issuing and management of NEC3/4 contract notifications on CAPEX projects
MS Office Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Good working knowledge and expertise with P2P systems preferably with knowledge of SAPS4Hana and/or Coupa.
